In 2011, a group of experienced and motivated industry specialists formed TechnikGS. Their collective efforts helped to fuel the company’s progression to become one of the UK’s leading piling and ground engineering organisations. The piling specialist company caters to diverse and myriad clients, offering all components of small and large scale engineering projects, including operating on difficult ground conditions. Who we are

Graham Lewis, BEng (Hons), CEng, MIStructE

Graham has almost four decades of first-hand experience in the UK construction industry, working for contractors and consultants. He is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers. Graham was a senior partner in an engineering consultancy before moving to larger contracting firms as both a principal design engineer and project director for specialist design and construction contracts. He has held several high-level, senior positions in one of the UK’s largest contractors.

Kevin Christie, MEng, CEng, MICE, FGS

Kevin has spent the last 20 years working in the ground engineering sector of the construction industry. He started his professional career working for a medium-sized site-investigation contractor before moving to a multinational engineering consultancy, where he became chartered. In 2008, he moved into the contracting side of the industry, working for a large specialist ground engineering contractor.

Paul Whinfield, EngTech TMICE

Paul’s career began working on-site for a specialist minipiling and micropiling contractor. Owing to his management skills, he quickly progressed to supervising and managing multiple crews using specialist piling techniques. Working as a freelance site engineer enabled Paul to deepen his construction knowledge and practical experience. He worked as an estimator in a specialist ground engineering contracting company. During this period, he obtained Institution of Civil Engineers membership and progressed to senior estimator, conducting most of the minipiling, micropiling and ground anchorage estimates for large specialist ground engineering contractors.
